Hartley Homestead Boutique Bed & Breakfast in Clyde truly exceeded our expectations. We were lucky to be upgraded to the Retreat room with an en-suite bathroom, which made our stay even more comfortable. The attention to detail in the room was impeccable - from the high thread count sheets to the clean and neat ambiance. The property itself is a stunning oasis, with beautiful gardens and the sweet songs of birds. Our host Euan, a laid-back Kiwi, was always available to offer guidance and answer any questions. We also relished in the delicious breakfast prepared by Euan, who is not only a fantastic host but also a skilled cook. Though the town is small, it is worth noting that dinner reservations should be made in advance. We had a delightful dinner at Paulinas. I cannot recommend Hartley Homestead Boutique Bed & Breakfast enough. It truly made our stay in Clyde memorable.
